Throughout Selena Gomez’s Emilia Pèrez press tour, the actor has been serving us looks daily. She’s leading manicure trends, she’s trying on new hairstyles—from wavy lobs to princess ponytails—and she’s always switching up her wardrobe. Last night at Elle’s Women in Hollywood event was no different, with Gomez giving her co-sign to one of fall’s coolest hair trends.

We’re in gala season, where every other day there’s a stylish event packed with our favorite celebrities. Last night, Elle hosted their annual Women in Hollywood ceremony which celebrates, (you guessed it) influential women in the industry. Of course, Gomez was attendance, and for the occasion, she arrived wearing one of the biggest hairstyle this season: the curved bob.

After Beyoncé debuted the style earlier this season, the curved bob had a moment. Simply put, it’s a bob with a curved shape—either the ends flip up dramatically or there’s lots of volume in the hair that creates a cool, rounded shape. Gomez’s style framed her face, curving outwards and then back in at the bottom to form a “C.” Crafted by hairstylist Renato Campora, the longer bob sat right above her collarbone and had lots of shine, adding to the glamorous feel of the shape. The silhouette looked just a touch softer than Beyoncé’s original curved style, perhaps for a more old Hollywood vibe.

The rest of the glam was simple and very Gomez. She wore a peachy lipstick that paired perfectly with her blush. The look was complete with fluffy black lashes and a smoky grey eyeshadow, courtesy of makeup artist Hung Vanngo.

It's official: The curved bob brigade has gained a new influential member, and we'll be adding the style to our fall mood boards.
