With these new hair tools, you can create salon-worthy blowouts from the comfort of your home. Both devices combine the ability to dry, straighten, curl, volumize, or smooth your hair with just one tool, saving you time and bathroom counter space. FlexFusion's new technology integrates powerful airflow with heated ceramic in its attachments, enabling both the drying and styling of wet hair or the restyling of dry hair. Getting down to the nitty gritty, the two systems do have a few key differences. While both the FlexFusion Air + Ceramic Styling & Drying System and FlexFusion Straight, Air + Ceramic Styling & Drying System are equipped with the brand's Auto-Wrap Curlers, a Wet & Dry Styling Brush, and the ability to swivel into a blow dryer, the former device features the FrizzFlighter Finishing Tool while the latter device features the Fusion Straightener.

How to Use the shark FlexFusion System
While the device itself may appear daunting (especially for those who are new to multi-stylers), it's actually really simple to use. To convert it into a blow-dryer, press the top button and twist the head to create a curved shape. You can easily power it on and adjust the temperature using the buttons at the tool's base. Additionally, FlexFusion is enabled with Scalp Shield Mode, a feature designed by dermatologists and supported by stylists to protect the scalp from excessive heat, which helps prevent hair damage and breakage. With just a hold of a button, this mode lowers the temperature while keeping the airflow consistent.
Attaching the accessories is also a breeze. Just align and gently twist them into place at the top of the tool, ensuring that the lock button on the back is engaged upright. The FlexFusion automatically detects which attachment is being used and adjusts to the recommended heat and power settings accordingly. You can override these settings if you prefer, but be aware that the styler won't retain these preferences the next time you attach the accessory.
When using the Fusion Straightener attachment, the hair is both blown with air and shaped with hot ceramic plates. During 'wet' hair mode, you'll notice that the straightener increases airflow and delivers minimal heat from the plates, while in 'dry' hair mode, the plates are hotter, and the airflow is reduced. The Wet & Dry Styling Brush, which is uniquely teardrop-shaped to allow you to get closer to your scalp and create upward volume, functions in the same manner. The Auto-Wrap curlers are still best used on damp hair. However, some may find the attachment to work well on dry hair, too.

Muli-styling tools are totally having a moment on social media. I'll be the first to admit that I typically style my hair via the mousse and scrunch method—hoping my strands form a semi-recognizable wave. But deep down, I want to be a blowout-loving girly with the shiniest, bounciest strands. And with Shark's FlexFusion, I truly think I can be.

Primarily, I use the Wet & Dry Styling Brush and the Fusion Straightener, as I like my blowouts to have a volumized sleek finish. Now, it's important to remember that everyone's hair is different depending on the type, texture, products used, and how well it holds a style. That said, the longevity I get out of styling my hair with the FlexFusion is remarkable. My hair stays shiny and bouncy all day, with only minor touch-ups needed in the morning. Whether you like your hair straight, curly, or something in between, the FlexFusion will get it done.
